O Prince of peace

1. O Prince of peace, O holy God and King, to fellowship today with you we come. All nations of the earth rejoice and sing to sanctify and glorify your name.
2. O Lord, we know you love us one and all, whether from west or east we come to you. All of one faith we hear your sovereign call. O Jesus Christ, you are our guide and stay.

According to the translator in an 8/20/05 email (I had incorrectly noted it was a "Japanese" instead of a "Javanese" melody -plh), "The song writer is Sabtajaadi, Pastor of Tawangrejo Mennonite Church in Pati county of north Central Java. He has written many other songs too. The Javanese Mennonite Church began from a group of six believers baptized by Dutch Mennonite missionary, Pieter Jansz, on Easter Sunday, 1854. There are now 96 congregations and about 100 congregations in formation. I am working on a project to produce a history of this synod of churches in English within the next year or so."
