Come and give thanks to the Giver

1.
Come and give thanks to the Giver of life;
all that we have is from God.
Gather the flowers and fruits of the land,
lift up their fragrance with song.

                Refrain:
                    All life, all love
                    flows from Creator-God.
                    Earth is one holy gift;
                    life is one holy breath.

2.
All that has opened and all that have wings
ride the wide currents of earth.
Seed, sprout, and harvest, all fishes and beasts,
blend in a concert of praise.....(Refrain)

3.
Mountains, deep oceans, and forests of trees,
sing the glad music of God.
Join with the stars and the planets in space;
darkness and light, clap your hands!.....( Refrain)

4.
Let us give care to this wealth from above.
May every spirit embrace
treasures of earth and of all human love,
tenderly holding God's gifts......( Refrain)
